Port of Husum

The tidal/naabsa (not always afloat but safely aground) port of Husum has become of great economic importance for the city and the whole region during the last years.        

Several companies dominating the transshipment  - especially in the agricultural sector.

As ports largest customer, BAT Agrar GmbH & Co. KG handles about 300.000 tons of feedstuff components, grains, oilseeds and fertilizer by ship per year.
